Liberty Environmental Welcomes Civil & Environmental Engineering Intern in Reading, PA

Kathleen “Kay” Stinley, a Civil & Environmental Engineering student at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. has joined Liberty Environmental Inc. as a Summer 2012 intern. Kay credits the opportunity to gain experience in several aspects of civil and environmental engineering including site assessment & remediation, air quality, and natural resources as the reason she chose Liberty Environmental to complete her internship.  In addition she shared, “The most unique part of this job is that I am able to travel for a few days out of the week. We have been delineating wetlands that are involved with the drilling of natural gas in northern Pennsylvania. It is amazing to actually be involved with the active sites and to see them first-hand as opposed to just hearing about the drilling in the news. Working with Liberty has been an ideal summer internship position because I am not only learning, but I am also experiencing.”
