Bog Turtle Phase II Alert and Updated Species Map

Phase II bog turtle season begins April 15 and ends June 15, and a total of four surveys must be completed during this time.

Surveys are weather dependent (i.e., appropriate temperatures) and must be at least six days apart in April and at least three days apart in May and June.

Additionally, two of the four surveys must be performed in the month of May.
