Cinelli to present PA NPDES PAG-03 for Industrial Stormwater at PennTec 2017 Stormwater Program

As part of the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association’s 89th Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (PennTec 2017) Stormwater Program, Liberty Environmental Principal, Jim Cinelli, will present Revisions to Pennsylvania NPDES General Permit PAG-03 for Industrial Stormwater Discharges.

On September 24, 2106, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) reissued its NPDES General Permit PAG-03 for industrial stormwater discharges. The new permit contains several additional requirements for permittees that are aimed at improving water quality in the Commonwealth. These include improved reporting, increased sampling and inspection requirements, establishing benchmark values for pollutants, and additional minimum BMPs. The presentation will outline these changes, as well as the requirements for a No Exposure Certification for those facilities who qualify for exemption to NPDES permitting. Examples of BMP installations and recent DEP interpretations on several permit requirements will be provided.

The conference will be held June 4-7, 2017 at the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center in Pocono Manor, PA.  For more information and conference registration, please visit PennTec 2017.
