Compliance Specialist Receives Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) Credentials

Conshohocken, PA: Liberty Environmental, Inc. is pleased to announce that Senior Compliance Specialist Tawnya McCain has achieved the distinction of being named a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM). This credential demonstrates the highest level of knowledge and expertise in the management of hazardous materials that are administered by the EPA, OSHA and DOT in programs including RCRA, EPCRA, SARA, TSCA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Hazard Communications, HAZWOPER, Confined Spaces, Personal Protection Equipment, and the Hazardous Materials Transportation Act.

With more than 17 years of experience in environmental consulting, McCain has focused her career on environmental compliance for industry and has a deep understanding of the storage of hazardous and universal waste management, stormwater management and stormwater pollution prevention planning (SWPPP), spill prevention control and countermeasure (SPCC) and emergency management plans for clients throughout the United States.
