Environmental Scientist Summer Intern 2020

Liberty’s 2020 Summer Intern is Jenna Ulrich. Jenna is a senior at Pennsylvania State University pursuing a BS in BioRenewable Systems, with a minor in Environmental Resources Management and a GIS certificate.

“I am so grateful and honored to be learning from such a smart and passionate group of individuals. I am only just beginning to understand the complexity behind Liberty’s operations. From the due diligence team to the project scientists on site visits, their enthusiasm and determination to deliver excellent quality is definitely evident! I am looking forward to a great summer with Liberty,” shares Jenna.

Jenna is a native of Berks County and a graduate of Oley Valley High School. She has completed previous internships with the Penn State Extension office in Berks County and Crop Management Strategies. She is a 2017 Girl Scout Gold Award recipient for her work to successfully restore an eroded stream bank in the Oley Valley, which introduced her to the DEP and Conservation District protocols.

In her free time you can find Jenna gardening, hiking, catching up with friends, and line dancing. When back in State College she loves to visit Playa Bowls for one of their “to die for” acai bowls. WE ARE… pleased to have Jenna aboard with us
