Kelly Lee Kinkaid, P.G., Project Manager and Hydrogeologist at Liberty Environmental, Inc. was presented with a Distinguished Service Award at the Annual Meeting of the Pennsylvania Council of Professional Geologists (PCPG) held in Harrisburg at the Holiday Inn East on Tuesday, January 15, 2013.

This special award came as a complete surprise to Kinkaid who was recognized for her “sustained commitment and excellency in advancing PCPG’s vision and mission through advocacy, networking and education.”

“We are a completely volunteer board and everyone contributes their time and energy to ensure our success, but it is always nice to be recognized for your efforts. Thank you to my fellow board members for this honor,” shared Kinkaid.

As an active board member and communications committee chair, she is responsible for the production of the quarterly newsletter, website content, and frequent email updates for this non- profit, established in 1989 by geologists seeking licensure in the Commonwealth. The 600+ current members include individuals and companies in the profession of developing, managing, and protecting the earth resources in Pennsylvania.

With over 26 years of experience in environmental management and consulting for industry, Kinkaid manages projects involving site assessment, regulatory compliance, natural resources, and water management services in the Reading and Lancaster offices.
