New Facility Breaks Ground at Former Orchard Site in Leesport, PA

Congratulations to Lift, Inc. on the groundbreaking of their new facility in Leesport, PA. Liberty Environmental was pleased to provide environmental due diligence services for this site. This project was unique in that Liberty petitioned for a waiver from the DEP Agricultural Soils Policy in order to have the site accepted into the “Act 2” Land Recycling Program. Liberty prepared a Risk Assessment and Remediation Plan for the site. In December 2013 the final report was approved by the PA DEP.
