NJWEA Workshop Presentation: Permitting a High TDS Wastewater Discharge in the Delaware River Basin

Woodland Park, NJ: Liberty Environmental Principal, James P. Cinelli, P.E., BCEE, will present at the May 15, 2015 Industrial Operator Workshop at the 100th Annual New Jersey Water Environment Association Conference.

His presentation is titled “Permitting a High TDS Wastewater Discharge in the Delaware River Basin” and will include a summary of Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) rules, assimilative capacity analysis, TDS petitions to DRBC, and project details of the successful permitting of a 15,000 mg/L TDS discharge.

Cinelli has over 24 years of experience in the environmental consulting field, with an emphasis in the areas of groundwater remediation, storage tank management, stormwater and wastewater permitting, and spill prevention planning. His project experience spans many industry sectors including petroleum distribution, food products, power generation, secondary metals, mining, and land development. His clients have included redevelopment authorities, manufacturers, convenience store chains, schools, banks, and government entities. He has written and lectured on the topics of groundwater remediation, wastewater treatment, spill prevention planning, and water quality regulations.
